About the opportunity

We are looking to add a Senior Accountant to our team. This person will have the opportunity to work closely with the firm’s partners and managers on client mandates as we continue to grow our firm.

Lead engagements to complete audit, review, and compilation engagements.
Prepare financial statements and working paper files for operating and investment companies.
Prepare simple corporate and personal tax returns. It’s okay if you don’t have tax experience yet, we will teach you!
Take a leadership role with junior staff members, including training and evaluating performance.
With support from the partner or manager, you will oversee and run the mandate, which includes preparation of working papers and supervision of junior staff.

About you

CPA or CPA auditor designation
2-4 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm
Passionate about helping small and medium businesses
You are very comfortable using technology
Takes deep ownership of your role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
You’re passionate about building exceptional client relationships, you deliver on promises, are helpful and patient and are always looking to be a value add to your clients.

Experience in managing more junior accountants
Knowledge of CaseWare and DT Max
